Assistant Director (Entry Level)
At Explore Horizons we help children from Kindergarten through to 8th grade with their math, reading and writing, and by doing so, we aim to help each child not only improve their understanding of those subjects, but also improve their confidence in school and their overall enjoyment of learning. As an Assistant Director, you will be so important in meeting this goal and will therefore need to be up for the challenge of delivering a great educational service at the same time as growing and developing your learning center using all of your promotional and managerial strengths.
You’ll start as part of a three person team; you, another Assistant Director and a Center Director. Between the three of you, you will each take different areas of responsibility as you look to provide an outstanding service and make yourselves a fixture in your local community. We look for bright College graduates who have a burning passion for what we do; we want you to be excited about making a difference to our members’ education and their lives, as well as making our centers a successful business so that we can continue to grow throughout the United States.
We’re going to offer you the opportunity to take a very hands-on approach to management from day one, and we won’t shy away from giving you a high level of responsibility either, and in return you’ll receive a lot of support and training so that you can thrive and make progress with your career goals. In fact you’ll be pleased to hear that your professional development is always front and center in our minds (Just like the kids and their learning will be front and center of your minds), because when you’re successful, then so are we (just like when the kids are successful then so are you…you get the picture, they’re both a big deal!). We have a tripod approach to training that includes self-directed learning, on the job mentoring and Head Office training. At Explore you can enjoy real job satisfaction and gain real business skills at the same time.
Be sure to take a look at our careers website for more information.

To be considered you must be eligible to work in the USA.
We started working with children in the UK back in 2001, and since then we’ve helped over 150,000 children to thrive academically. Having been very successful in the UK, we’re now turning our attentions to Texas and launching our own unique style of tutoring center in the Dallas and Fort Worth area.
We look for bright College graduates who have a burning passion for what we do; we want you to be as excited about making a difference to our members' education and their lives as we are, as well as making our centers a successful business so that we can continue to grow here in the United States.
Explore Horizons offers you the opportunity to take a hands on approach to people and performance management from day one. A high level of responsibility and extensive training will allow you to thrive and rapidly progress your career. You can enjoy huge job satisfaction and gain real business skills at the same time.
At Explore Horizons we’re ambitious. We’d like to think we’re dynamic too, but whatever we are, we’re dedicated to making a difference to children’s’ education, and making our company a success.
It goes without saying that Explore has a lively work setting; we bring our passion to work every day. That passion is what fuels us to connect with parents, and to help children from Kindergarten through to 8th grade with their math, reading and writing. We do more than just improve their understanding of those subjects; we help children to develop their confidence in school and (as importantly) their overall enjoyment of learning.
If the children are the center of our service, then our people are the center of our business, and as well as benefiting from some outstanding staff training you will also find a well-structured career development plan that will make sure that you have every opportunity to fulfill your career ambitions.
