As the original founder and visionary of FirstJob, Eyal plays an integral role in every facet of the business. His primary responsibility is assuring that the company’s strategic direction aligns with its mission to build the most effective site for entry-level job seekers.
Before FirstJob, Eyal worked at a recruitment agency specializing in the Aerospace and Information Technology industries. As co-manager of key accounts including Boeing, Gulfstream and Lockheed Martin, Eyal gained an expert understanding of recruiter needs. In his search for a new career path, he recognized the market opportunity for a streamlined, more effective online recruiting system. Eyal earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the Leeds School of Business at University of Colorado, with an emphasis in corporate finance and business law.
As Co-Founder and the technical mind behind FirstJob, James guides all of FirstJob’s software development, ensuring that the website and its underlying systems meet the company’s long-term business objectives. Prior to FirstJob, James was the Core Developer at MindJolt, a leading social gaming network. At MindJolt, James was responsible for feature development, scalability and maintaining developer APIs. His experience building a highly scalable product from the ground up, both functionally and conceptually, has been the driving force in developing our world-class employment site platform. James earned a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Texas.
Eduardo leads FirstJob’s sales team, devising strategies to acquire new customers and break into new markets. An accomplished sales professional, Eduardo has nearly 10 years’ experience in both business-to-business and consumer environments. He comes to FirstJob after serving as Business Development Specialist and Media Marketing Director for CyberAgent America, where he was awarded Most Valuable Employee twice in less than a 12 month period. Eduardo graduated from Expression College for Digital Arts where he earned a bachelor of applied science in sound arts (audio engineering).
Sean formulates and executes the company’s marketing strategy, including all user acquisition efforts, SEO/SEM campaigns and social network initiatives. He is also responsible for developing partnerships on both the corporate and university level. With extensive experience in the internet marketing industry, Sean has the diverse knowledge required to successfully achieve FirstJob’s goal to become a household name in the online recruiting industry. He received a B.A in English from the University of Southern California, as well an M.B.A from the University of San Francisco.
Adam’s main responsibility is overseeing the accurate translation of visual design into the appropriate functionality, site architecture and user experience. In addition to his front-end development expertise, Adam has been a key member of teams that have built mobile applications, content management systems, large-scale social platforms, and photography based applications. Before joining FirstJob, Adam served as a web developer for Gold Rush Motorsports and Roni Lynn Photography, and Creative Developer for Hot Shot Media. Adam has a degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from The Art Institute of California.
Susan leads the creative efforts at FirstJob, driving the direction for all user interface design, as well as the company’s branding and marketing campaigns. A highly-accomplished designer with extensive digital and print experience, Susan has guided creative projects for RR Donelley & Sons, Levi Strauss & Co., ActiveForever.com, US Cellular and many other leading brands. Her keen eye and design sense are critical not only for the overall FirstJob user experience, but also for properly executing the company brand across various channels. Susan studied Design of the Environment at the University of Pennsylvania.
